Sunday was for shopping and Monday is for posting mail, running errands, doing laundry and mentally preparing for being away from home for a week while I house sit. I went to several places yesterday but the one place I really enjoyed going to was Sahara, a really chic and tranquil women’s clothing and accessories store located in St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. Part of the Binjara Traders, Inc. family, Sahara specializes in clothing and accessories straight out of India, beautiful and ornate with decent price tags to match. If you want authenticity then don’t hesitate to stop by. They have an amazing assortment of Buddhas in all different sizes as well as Ganesha sculptures. I took several photos of the store so you could see the inside.
If you are ever in the Sarasota, FL area for a visit or you live here and have never experienced Sahara, please do not hesitate to stop in. The staff are friendly and helpful and the ambiance is soothing and peaceful. Namaste!

No, I’ve not heard of it! Where in Sarasota is it? I’ll have to check it out! You and Shawn should come up soon so I can see you. I leave for London from Miami so perhaps I can see you the day before my flight and we can shoot a little together with our iPhones! You definitely have to check Sahara out. They also have another store called Ivory with a more African theme just down the same side of the circle which is cool too!
